The platform combines power conversion, energy storage, realtime controls and DIMAAG’ s Zifer intelligent energy management in a single deployable system. Rather than installing separate equipment for every requirement, the same battery and control layer perform four jobs: smoothing rapid AI load fluctuations; supporting the facility through lowvoltage events while it stays connected to the grid; providing instantaneous backup power; and responding to utility requests to reduce demand. Collapsing those functions into one platform is what allows grid compliance and infrastructure economics to be solved together rather than traded off against each other.
At the heart of the architecture is an 800 VDC backbone. NVIDIA and the major hyperscalers have already announced a move from 50 VDC to 800 VDC inside the rack as rack power climbs towards the megawatt scale. DIMAAG’ s argument is that the shift cannot stop at the rack. Unless the architecture extends end to end, from the grid interconnection all the way to the chip, the industry simply moves the bottleneck rather than removing it. A common DC backbone also creates a single electrical layer on which batteries, generators and compute loads can be coordinated directly.
The platform is designed to be deployable now rather than once the rest of the ecosystem catches up. It uses commercially available transformerrectifier technology today while remaining compatible with future solid-state transformers, and it supports both current racks that receive 480 VAC and convert it internally to approximately 50 VDC and future racks supplied natively at 800 VDC.
By moving the principal buffering and backup functions onto the DC side, the ZettaWatt™ platform eliminates the double power conversion, standalone uninterruptible power supplies and layers of AC switchgear that a conventional design requires. The result is a power system that is simpler, smaller and more efficient, with lower capital and operating costs and a clearer path to scale.
