Lutz sees significant scope to automate manual, low-value work across the business, freeing employees to focus on tasks that genuinely add value. One example is a tool called the Smart Parts Advisor, an agent that crossreferences vehicle components to identify similar or interchangeable parts.
“ A human being would take a long time to do all these comparisons, whereas the machine is doing it in a very short time,” Lutz explains.“ This is, of course, an efficiency gain, and a nonvalue-adding task which we automate with agents.”
The company has also built an agentic orchestration platform, used to trial and prove the value of new use cases before wider rollout. He anticipates a hybrid future workplace where human employees and AI agents
