Google is bundling AI into every Workspace plan. No upgrades, no separate licences, no enterprise-only features. The company’ s three billion users get access to Gemini capabilities as part of their existing subscriptions, whether they run a small business or a Fortune 500 company.
It’ s a different model from some enterprise software vendors, who typically charge extra for AI features. Google’ s bet is that AI adoption happens faster when the technology appears inside tools people already use, rather than through separate platforms that require training and change management.
Kristina Behr, VP of Product in Google Workspace, oversees Drive, Docs, Sheets and Google Vids. She says the company is designing for scale across different customer types.
“ I think one of the biggest things that we’ re designing our products around is how do we make AI accessible to that broad swathe of customers, from the very small business to the Fortune 500,” Kristina says.
Google Workspace Flows: AI-powered agentic automation Google Cloud announced several AI features at its Summit in London earlier this year. Among them was Google Workspace Flows, a tool which is moving beyond workflow automation into agentic systems that process information with context.

Kristina is VP of Product at Google Workspace, bringing over 20 years of technology experience in strategic product development, cross-company partnerships, and human-centred design to collaboration tools.
Standard automation follows predetermined rules, but Workspace Flows can interpret and analyse, processing customer feedback forms, performing sentiment analysis, extracting data and populating spreadsheets without manual configuration for each variable.
“ How can we help people sift through the myriad of various different customer feedback forms that they’ re getting, do sentiment analysis, pull that information, put it into a Google Sheet to create charts and so on?” Kristina says.“ It’ s how we think about not just very simple automation, but AI-driven automation with context.”
Agentic AI systems can execute multi-step workflows with less human intervention than earlier automation technologies. They use language models to understand business context and adapt to variations in input data.
