Vijaye Raji becomes OpenAI’ s Chief Technology Officer( CTO) of Applications following the company’ s acquisition of Statsig, the experimentation platform he founded.

He’ ll oversee ChatGPT and Codex engineering, bringing entrepreneurial experience and a decade at Meta leading large-scale consumer products.

Statsig will continue operating independently from Seattle while joining OpenAI’ s infrastructure.
