Distributed Denial of Service( DDoS) attacks – attempts to overwhelm systems with traffic – represent an increasing technical challenge.“ We have seen huge changes in the records of DDoS attacks, huge volumes in the volumetric approach of mitigated attacks by big providers like Akamai or Cloudflare,” notes Aggelos.“ This demonstrates how much the attackers have evolved and how much this technology has been utilised by them.”
