A NEW GOLDEN ERA?

While a smattering of controversy threatened to overshadow the recent AI Impact Summit in India, it also showcased some of the remarkable ways in which advanced tech can be harnessed as a force for good.
I was especially struck by comments from Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis, who insisted AGI remains no match for human reasoning but predicted a“ new golden era for scientific discovery,” as humans collaborate with machines.
The prospect of meeting AI’ s sharpest minds is what excites me most about this role – and we’ ll be gathering hundreds of them under one roof at AI LIVE: The London Summit later this year. Lots will change between now and October, but we look forward to seeing you there.
