Joining Anthropic is the Vice President of Google DeepMind, John Jumper, who jointly bagged the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry alongside GMD CEO Demis Hassabis for their groundbreaking work on AlphaFold – the AI which solved the protein folding problem, massively speeding up drug discovery.
