Elon Musk calls them the“ biggest product of all time” – and now humanoid robots are setting their metallic feet on British soil.

Robotics company Humanoid has proven its pre-alpha robot can handle real-world factory work, completing a successful trial with German manufacturer Schaeffler. The robot picked and transferred metallic rings between stations, demonstrating the flexibility and adaptability that traditional robotic arms lack.

Schaeffler is planning widespread deployment across its global sites, while the humanoid market races towards a projected US $ 38bn valuation by 2035.
