TCS will implement a cloud-first, AI-powered digital core across Virgin Atlantic’ s operations. The programme includes a Technology Command Centre that monitors operational systems in real time, providing data to support decisions on flight logistics and customer service. The system aims to predict equipment failures and delays before they escalate, improving turnaround times and fuel efficiency.
The TCS partnership covers crew, cargo, engineering and enterprise platforms. TCS will use proprietary solutions including TCS Cognix and TCS AI WisdomNext to accelerate the transformation. Virgin Atlantic announced a separate partnership with SpaceX’ s Starlink in July 2025. The airline will become the first UK carrier to offer free, unlimited Wi-Fi with streaming speeds across its fleet. Installation starts in the third quarter of 2026, covering its
