GPT-3 can be fine-tuned for a variety of language tasks , such as translation , summarisation , and question answering , and has been used to generate human-like text in a variety of settings . It has received significant attention in the media and the technology industry due to its impressive performance and potential to revolutionise natural language processing .
Unlike previous iterations of the GPT model , ChatGPT is specifically designed to serve a chatbot function . However , unlike other chatbots or intelligent software assistants , ChatGPT is much more adept at engaging in dialogue with its users and can even respond to feedback , request clarification , and iterate on its answers based on a user ' s response .
