TECHNOLOGY
management, evolution and in many cases a commercial model where the client is paying for outcomes delivered by the workflow, not just for the build. Agent plus human expert, priced on what it actually produces. That’ s a fundamentally different engagement model, and we think it’ s the right one.
Q. AND THE THIRD: PERMISSION TO PLAY. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN AND WHY DOES IT MATTER?
» It’ s the one people overlook. It means the client relationship is deep enough, and the trust is strong enough, that you’ re inside the workflow, not advising on it from the outside. You can’ t improve a process you’ re not embedded in. A lot of AI programmes fail not because of the technology but because the vendor never had access to how the work actually gets done on an everyday basis.
Evalueserve has all three. We’ re already doing the work for leading banks and enterprises. The AI doesn’ t replace the relationship. It makes it more valuable.
Q. GIVE ME A CONCRETE EXAMPLE OF WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE IN PRACTICE
» Take commercial lending. A commercial loan today takes 45 to 60 days to close. A significant portion of that time sits in credit memos and financial spreading, the analytical work that precedes the credit decision. We already do that work for the largest banks in the US where we’ re inside that workflow.
Because we’ re already there, we can build agentic underwriting systems that understand what those
analysts are actually doing, what a good credit memo looks like in this specific bank’ s context, what the edge cases are, when to escalate. The result is that analyst time per loan is coming down by 40 % to 60 %. This is what we’ re already seeing today in production.
Or take reimbursement submissions in life sciences. A delayed submission to a health authority costs roughly US $ 0.5m per day in lost sales, according to the Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development, so a rejection that sets a programme back months runs into the tens or hundreds of millions.
