Amazon Web Services provides a suite of cloud based AI and ML tools designed to build, train and scale AI applications. Its offerings span data, infrastructure and services – such as Amazon Bedrock, which allows users to scale applications with LLMs, foundation models( FM) and gen AI tools. It also offers Amazon SageMaker to pre-train FMs from scratch so they can be used internally and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud EC2 Trn1 instances, powered by AWS Trainium chips, which are purpose-built for high-performance deep learning training of gen AI models. AWS brings its expertise to more than 100,000 customers. It is owned and operated by Amazon, headed up by its CEO Andy Jassy. Andy said in 2025:“ What started as a deep conviction that every customer experience would be reinvented using AI, and that altogether new experiences we’ ve only dreamed of would become possible, is rapidly becoming reality.”
